  17.    Repentance is the trans. of a Gr. word (metanoia-metanoeo) meaning "to
  18.    have another mind," "to change the mind," and is used in the N.T. to
  19.    indicate a change of mind in respect of sin, of God, and of self.  This
  20.    change of mind may, especially in the case of Christians who have fallen
  21.    into sin, be preceded by sorrow

  35.    disciples.  Their answer brought out the fact that they were Jewish
  36.    proselytes, disciples of John the Baptist, looking backward to an
  37.    accomplished redemption.
